My Windows ME doesn't have an Ethernet card at all! This is how I encountered WUAUBOOT:
No prior e-mail problems. I start downloading my e-mail, after 3 of 11 messages appear
in my INBOX, the dial-up connection to my ISP seizes. Consecutive Ctl+Alt-Del (3-finger
saluts) reveal: INBOX (not responding) - ended; Explorer (nor responding) - recovered
after INBOX ended; WUAUBOOT - (ended) - disappeared.
Searched - WUAUBOOT.EXE is in WINDOWS;
Copernic Agent Pro got me to this list.
I have NS Messenger; ZoneAlarm Pro.
Sorry, but previous replies leave me and my situation clueless.
