You shopuld look in msconfig and make sure that the entry: ScanRegistry is checked. (i.e. scanregw.exe) as if not you will not have more recent restore points in scanreg /restore. Looks like you have a 20Gb disk? Have you thought of over-installing your system with your Windows CD-ROM?
