Susan,

You should be able to uninstall it in Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel. If 
it's listed, just click to highlight it then choose Remove. OK apply, etc. 

If it's not listed under that tab, choose the Windows setup tab - Multimedia - click 
Details. If it's checked, uncheck it and Apply - OK your way out. Always restart/reboot 
after uninstalling or installing a program.

You may need to search the net for a download to the version you want. I don't have 
a link.
