The final release of wmp9 is so new that a lot is still
not known. It is about Digital Rights Management. It
won't be long before some media web sites music,
movie etc. won't even let us in if we don't have a
product like wmp9 to protect the site from piracy. I
think Microsoft feels it needs to get involved for fear
of being sued by the media mogals. All because PC
users rip off so much of the content. But that doesn't
help you right now to remove something that I think
needs a lot of work yet.
