The only thing you can do (apart from upgrading your OS) is set a screensaver password so that nobody else can access your pc one the screesaver kicks in. Two downsides to this though, you have to leave your pc on always (which lots of people do anyway) and any unauthorised user could just reset the machine and use it once it's rebooted.
