If that's the case, it's dormant, but you can delete the restore folder. No program can remove anything from your system restore folder. If your _RESTORE files are corrupted, boot from your boot diskette, and at the DOS prompt: A:\}DELTREE C:\_RESTORE This will delete all of the temp files. Then Windows ME will create a new folder and a few empty dat files.
