While a parallel install works, it requires reinstalling all your applications, which can have enormous cost in time. The problem is due to either a new version of Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer and the way to fix each one is listed below: IE: Rename c:\windows\system\iemigrat.dll *.old Rename c:\program files\Internet Explorer\W2k\migrate.dll *.old Rename c:\program files\outlook express\9xmig.dll *.old WMP: Rename c:\windows\system wmp*.dll *.old Rename c:\windows\system wmp.ocx *.xoc Rename c:\program files\windows media player wmp After that, run setup again.
