Fantastic. I had tried safe mode. I used it in Win98 a lot, but figured it wasn't
in ME when I tried it and it didn't work. The trick was that I was using a wireless
keyboard. After you confirmed what I suspected to be the fix, I dug in deeper and
pulled out my old keyboard.. .voila!
IT'S A MIRACLE, I CAN SEE!!!!!
