Got a feeling this is related to Quick Time on WinXP at least, I'm gonna try the
Nvidia Drivers and if that don't work I'll try uninstalling Quick Time 6. BTW the
msconfig file is probably trying to initialise the start up of Quick Time so it can
sit in your system tray as soon as you boot up.
