You can delete _Restore folder permanently !

You can delete the C:\ _Restore folder permanently.
1. Disable System Restore (procedure has already been discussed), restart system.
2. click on Start > Run , type msconfig. In the startup tab, uncheck StateMgr , restart
system
3. Intall the "290700usam.exe" patch from Microsoft's site.

4. right click on restore folder and it should be gone forever !!!!
