WMP7 will never install on XP. The Roxio plug-in it would install would leave XP
unbootable, and no one wants that. Both the OS and the WMP7 installer will thus
block any attempts to install WMP7 on XP.
WMP8 is your minimum/baseline install of WMP on Windows XP.
