HI all, I have a 3 com cable modem and a linksys router. I used to have a dlink router but after encountering about a billion problems, i decided to go out an buy a new one. The problem was that i have my router connected to a cable modem. My computer and internet phone (Vonage) are connected to my router. I've had this configuration since July with no problems, up until a few days ago. Suddenly, my connection failed. My phone wouldn't work and neither would my computer's internet connection. Now, the problem still persists, despite repeated calls to the cable company and linksys. It seems the only way to fix the problem is to disconnect the power from everything, then restart the modem, then the router, and finally my computer. I have ran anti viruses, cloned my mac address numerous times, basically and lay fixes i could think of. Any body out there have any clue. Please help if you can, it sucks having to talk toi tech support on my cell phone. Thanks, Ab
