start up question Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 1:35 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by james (12 messages posted) friend of mine has a dell with ME installed. been giving him lots of trouble. thought a virus scan might help. put norton 2004 into and in the pre-scan it found over 800 infected files. it repaired many but deleted many also. now when you boot it up the registery editor opens as does the internet options screen and a window that says easy install was succesfully uninstalled. after closing the windows it SEEMS to work better than it has for a long time. any ideas how to fix this small inconviences?
