windows me start up Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 3:29 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by michael (2 messages posted) just recently my windows me system boots up and stops at the background screen without finishing the startup. When I go to the task manager there is only one file listed. I do not have my recovery disk (lost) and do not know how to fix this problem.
