How do you remove a search engine parasite?

I'm using Windows Me on a family computer.

A few months ago I installed Google's toolbar to IE6.
It worked great and I was satisfied.

This morning when I stared IE things were different.

Instead of my normal home page I was greated by "BlazeFind" homepage, and my google
toolbar was replaced by a blazefind IEtollbar (with not so family friendly links).

I first tried to reset my home page to my normal homepage, but found this is reset
back to "BlazeFind" during re-boot.

Next I tried to re-install google toolbar, but found this did not eradicate the blazefind
toolbar parasite.

Next I tried to re-install IE6, but found this too did not eradicate the blazefind
toolbar parasite.

I searched the Regedit and found "blaze" in "My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\IESearchbar\IESearchbar",
but I'm not sure what is safe to edit.

How do you remove a search engine parasite?
