IE6 drops off Friday, December 5, 2003 at 6:48 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Marcus (7 messages posted) Im running Windows ME with IE6 and a cable modem. After about 20-30 minutes of browsing IE6 will load nothing, all I am able to get is that annoying "Cannot Find Web Page" page. Everything else works ok, like and chat programs, Outlook and such. I have tried rebooting my modem, when it comes back online, everything else starts working but IE6 is still hung up. At that point I have no other option but to restart my entire system. This is a temporary soltuion though because after another 20-30 minutes of browsing the cycle starts again. I know the obvious solution is to quit using ME but until I can afford to upgrade this is not an option. Any ideas?
