Go into RUN, type MSCONFIG and click ok. Open the startup tab and search for the program that is running the feature you desire to disable. Uncheck the box next to it (if you can find it). Click apply and restart the computer. If the program was successfully disabled there should be no icon. If the icon remains you unchecked the wrong box or you have some sort of malware. Let us know what happens.
