After checking around a bit I realize the Windows Me OS can be very unfaithful when
shutting down (even for the slightest reason). I recently lost a monitor (only 1
1/2 years old) and can't help but thinking my shut down problems contributed to the
monitor burnout. I'm now thinking about upgrading to XP but, I hate taking the easy
way out. I least wanted the satisfaction of trying to locate the problem in Windows
Me. I do appreciate all the help you given me tho.
Is it neccessary for winmgmt to be running in the background most of the time? I
can tell every time it starts because system pauses & mouse becomes sticky.
So sorry to hear about your surgrey and sure hope your feeling better. ...Thanks
for the networking link.
