Was looking at your response. I have a new cd writer whose program Nero conflicts with a "ghost" file from an uninstalled Adaptec Easy Creator program.I used a program from PCWorld, called CleanReg3 which wa supposed to reveal any registry settings of that file. thought i got all of it.Apparently not. I've never worked with Regedit, and wonder if this is the time to do so. If so, what is the way to do it?
