Hello there,
I tried exactly the same proceedure that you described, but my machine still won't
boot up. After the fn+f11 and saving f1 the pc powers up, the hard drive and floppy
drives light up then the pc powers down like in sleep mode. After about 5 minutes
A message apears saying "please insert system disk, hit any key to continue". HP
support suggested that the floppy drive was faulty. It isn't!I made 2 diagnostic
disks with it!I've never heard of a floppy that could write but not read!I hope there
is some wizkid out there who can help me!
Yours,
Paul UK
