You shouldn't have uninstalled/reinstalled Spybot. That was not good advice to give you. Don't try to do a system restore over this, but I'm not qualified to help much with these problems. You should be able to just try again later, as sometimes the servers get overloaded, so it's not unusual to get that error. That's all I can suggest other than having you check the FAQ. I believe there's a Fix you can install, look under "how to uninstall" and check it out. If after trying again later to download the updates, and you continue to have problems, post on Spybot's support forum, the site at this link.
