Isn't that just a Java VM update? That's what the s'posedly patch was, but I've had
the latest MS Java ver. 3810 for a year now and still got hit with one of the first
variants.
That's why you can't repair, that wasn't an upgrade. Download the SP2. This is the
best of I.E., seriously. In fact, other 9x users could download it here, rather than
a full download somewhere. That "should" list it. If not, there are two other ways
to repair it.
Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 and Internet Tools for Windows Me
Internet Explorer Repair tool from a command prompt:
Start - Run - type: rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"
Note: It would be best to copy/paste the line into the run box. It's case sensitive.
OR: Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Information tool - From
Tools the menu - choose IE Repair Tool -- Repair IE.
