Actually, I am trying to do the same thing...leave a direct connection between two
modems and share the High Speed connection. NO ONE seems to understand what exactly
I am talking about...I asked PC Techs all over the place and they tried to sell me
on PC Anywhere...HELLO! It's not files I am wanting to share, it's a High Speed connection.
It looks very logical when I do up a diagram, but to actually do it seems to be unlogical.
I think if we find an External Modem with a WAN/LAN jack also, we can connect the
modem to the ISDL phoneline and connect the LAN cable to the Router and the router
would see that there is a new computer on the Network. What's up with these new
Technicians who are building these things...it's possible I know it is. I think
the only problem would be...Service Providers would loose a lot of customers because
we'd be sharing our high speed with multiple people.
