To load it even faster, you can prevent ANY page from loading, although this can
only be done with a shortcut to the program.
Right-click the shortcut and select "Properties".
In the "Target" text field, go to the very end and append the option "-nohome" (without
the quotes).
For example, mine looks like:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome
The only disadvantage to this method is that you have to load a web page before you
can use the Tools->Windows Update or Tools->Internet Options.
