Dear all, I have just installed Office XP Professional on Windows ME. I only installed Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. After installation I restarted my PC, an error message popped up: "Error Loading C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BRIDGE.DLL The system cannot find the file specified " However, when I look into the folder C:\\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ I do clearly see that the file "BRIDGE.DLL" is there! I then uninstalled Office XP and reboot the PC again, sadly, the same message just won't go away. So my question is, what is this BRIDGE.DLL file doing on my PC? I am tempted to go into Regedit and delete all the entries with bridge.dll but I am not sure if this is the right thing to do. Many thanks for helping out. barry
