I have a question about How
do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?:
For some strange reason, recently, whenever I start up my computer, it looks for
iexplore.exe as soon as windows starts (before any of the other startup programs
or taskbar programs). It gives me an error saying that the program is incompatible
with this version of windows.
My win.ini file has the following line under "load=": RUN=C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IEXPLORE.EXE.
I tried to delete the line, but when I restart, the same problem occurs and the above
line again apears in the win.ini file.
Any thoughts?
