Hi, Stinger is a stand alone utility that can help, but the ones that you probably
need the most are; 'Spysweeper', 'NoAdware', 'AdAware' and you should probably also
get the 'dsostop2.exe'.
The last one was good advice from another member of this forum. It protects Internet
Explorer.
I wish that I could remember the name. I'm bad with names.
You may have to clean out your _RESTORE if that's where they are hiding.
Spysweeper notifies you if someone tries to change your homepage, just click no to
keep it the same.
Customize all of the programs for the best security.
Good luck, and have a great day, Darlene
P.S. The advice that Jabuck gave you should also be followed. It was good advice.
