joe, try working through this list. First disable system restore. Go to control panel>system>performance>file system>troubleshooting>check the box beside disable system restore>apply>ok. Be sure to uncheck the box when things return to normal.

Then go control panel>internet options:
clear history>yes
delete files>ok
delete cookies>ok
settings>view files, if there>edit>select all>file>delete.

Run a full system scan with you antivirus. If you don’t have one Housecall

Try these free spyware removers Ad-aware 6.0 and Spybot update them>run them. You can safely remove anything ad-aware finds and in spybot remove the items written in red.

Then download and run this free hijacker remover from the bottom of this page cwshredder. Then close all program>go offline>run it.

And once you have them removed download this free spyware preventer Spywareblaster Be sure to update these weekly. If you still have problems follow the directions Hijack This and post a HT log. Be sure to check the box "check this box to preserve your spacing" below under options so it is readable.

If you were successful go back enable system restore then create a restore point for it. Go to start>run>type msconfig>ok>launch system restore>check the circle beside create a restore point>next>type new(or anything)>next>a new restore point will be created>home>click the x at the top right of the screen>restart the computer. ---jabuck
