Mike, It is most likely a virus. If you have a bootdisk>shutdown the computer>insert
the bootdisk(some call it a startup disk,it floppy diskette)>restart the computer>
choose(3.) without cd-rom support>at the A:\ prompt that appears type " deltree C:\_RESTORE
" without the quotes, then press enter. Remove the diskette and press ctrl, alt, delete
to return to windows. If you have an antivirus be sure to remove restore from the
exclusions list before you delete it.If you need a bootdisk you can make one an
any ME computer. You'll need one diskette>go to control panel>add/remove programs>startup
disk tab>insert diskette into a: drive>create disk. Or go to Bootdisk.com
( I use the oem version)>download it to your desktop>open it >copy it to a diskette. You
should run a virus scan. If you don't have one you can get a free online scan at
this link Housecall
