mmsystem.dll goes in the c:\windows\system folder. you can find a place to download
it from the net. but you probably don't have the driver for your video card set
up. right click on the desktop, click properties, settings, advanced, adaptor.
if it doesn't list the video card but only a standard driver you'll have to get the
video card driver and put it on your computer unless you have it on a cd or a floppy.
then go back where you were and click change, you can try having windows look for
it but you may have to browse and find the folder it's in. when you boot your computer
the name of the video card should be the first thing you see on the black screen.
should be a name, like SIS, and a number like 300. then you can search google for
(example) driver for video card SIS 300. when that's done, see if you still get
the error message.
