It doesn't work to uncheck them in MSCONFIG, if the programs settings themselves are to run at startup. First open each program in the Systray area and look for the option to 'load at startup', or similar. Those settings override your choice in MSCONFIG. For a description of other applications listed, check this TaskList site, to find out whether they're needed in your startup.
