If you try to put the swap-file at the beginning of the C: drive you can find that
constant modification to the beginning of the drive will cause the swap-file to lose
position.
To move the swap-file all you need to do is to choose a different drive letter, in
the virtual memory settings in System.
This will change the entries in SYSTEM.INI viz.
[386Enh]
MinSPs=8
PagingDrive=E:
MinPagingFileSize=1024000
MaxPagingFileSize=1024000
Now that is odd, because the MinSPs=8 had disappeared.
I should also change the max to none.
I use Norton's SpeedDisk to optimise the swap-file, if it should need it.
