Hello. The AutoScan=0 seemed like a great tip. Unfortunately, it did not work for
me. Win M.E. (Multiple Errors) is still running scandisk automatically at startup.
Its also running a thorough scan everytime and freezes up often. I have all updates
and the laptop is a 400mhz (hardly fast enough to cause shutdown errors). When I
shutdown, it powers down and shuts off properly. This problem just started two days
ago. Any suggestions?
