windows reboots when any cd is entered Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 6:29 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Josh (2 messages posted) I have windows ME wich is on top of windows 98. recently my computer has been rebooting by itself whenever I insert a cd into the cd drive. It does this any time i insert any disk, may it be music, or dvd. Does anyone know what could be the issue? I have allready checked the drive on another computer and it is working and i also have removed the drive from the device manager and reinstalled it and it still reboots. I also have allready uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for the drive and it still does this. can someone please help me?
