I do not know if this works on a GX280, but I have used it on GX260 and GX270 without
a problem. However, use at your own risk and first back up your registry.
I would like to remove the shutdown feature as well, only having the "Restart" option
left in the Shutdown Menu. Any help would be appreciated.
This is the merge file someone gave me:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ACPI\Parameters]
"AMLIMaxCTObjs"=hex:05,00,00,00
"Attributes"=dword:00000070
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ACPI\Parameters\WakeUp]
"FixedEventMask"=hex:20,01
"FixedEventStatus"=hex:00,80
"GenericEventMask"=hex:02,01,00,00
"GenericEventStatus"=hex:00,01,37,19
