win me : desktop items flagged etc Friday, January 7, 2005 at 1:11 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Andy (2 messages posted) most of the items on my desktop now have little flags covering them, flags are 4 coloured blue,red,yellow,green Also normal folders now show their icon as a *.dat file icon All of the shortcuts / files effected still work fine I have done a full sys scan with norton antivirus which is up 2 date, also ran registry checker, pc bug doctor, ad-aware 6, and scan disc, none of these have helped in any way.
