Try running SCANDISK in Thorough mode. You could have picked up a soft disk error
somewhere on the disk drive. They can cause BSOD type of errors. Normally this type
of disk problem can be caused by power failures (which is why I have a UPS).
The other errors still sound like a Browser Hijacker. There might be a new one
out. But I assume you have looked at a HijackThis log and found nothing new.
