I have WinMe from a zip file unzipped on this computer and I copied setup to the
computer with the problem.For a second it looked like it would start the setup but
then I got this error:
Setup could not check the hard drives on your computer.You must check your drives
before setup can continue.
Click OK to exit setup,restart your machine,boot with a floppy and run scandisk /all
from the command line.After scandisk has finished run setup to install WinMe.
So I ran scandisk and did a scan that took about 2 hours and when I ran setup again
I got the same error.So,I have WinMe files but not files that are actually installed.I
couldn't find the CAB files that you told me to look for.Okie,Thanks
