IE flutters/flashes, won't work Monday, January 10, 2005 at 9:29 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by David (3 messages posted) Using Windows ME, I have become unable to use Internet Explorer. The browser starts up, but when it attempts to load my home page (or any other page) the "http:" site name flutters or flashes on the address bar, and the screen remains white. I scanned for viruses and adware, but nothing shows up. Using another browser (Netscape), I reinstalled IE 6, but the problem persisted. Using "add/remove software", I downgraded to IE 5, but the problem persists. Any ideas? Thanks.
