Text size Monday, January 10, 2005 at 11:15 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Kathy (1 messages posted) The text under my desktop icons, text in the address line and text in My Documents is tiny with strange symbols on the minimize, maximize, close buttons. I've gone under Settings, Control Panel, Display, Appearance and tried to change the size there, but it only changes other areas, not the ones mentioned above. Under Effects I changed it to Large Icons, which made the text somewhat larger, but the strange symbols are still there. When printing checks on the Quicken program, the numbers come out squeezed together also. The day before the problem someone was connected to the internet and this problem was here after starting the computer. I have McAfee Virus Scan and update each week. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
