I am always suspicious of new directories that appear on my hard drive unexpectedly.
Tonight, I picked up the Cool Savings Trojan and killed it but, as I was DELTREEing
that directory, I noticed a new directory:

 Directory of C:\WINDOWS\Larry Bates\Microsoft\CLR Security Config\v1.1.4322

. 02-11-05 11:47p .
.. 02-11-05 11:47p ..
SECURI~1 CON 21,768 02-11-05 11:47p security.config
SECURI~1 CCH 21,792 02-12-05 12:29a security.config.cch
         2 file(s) 43,560 bytes
         2 dir(s) 2,637.38 MB free

Does anyone know if this is legit? I have received other updates from Microsoft but
have never seen them installed in this sort of directory.

Just to be safe, I DELTREEd this directory. I got along fine without it, up until
now.
