I have a similar problem with a cumulative update for Outlook Express 6 in Windows
ME (not withstanding the part about the virus that our church secretary introduced
into the computer):
Check out these possible solutions:
bring it up in safe mode
Start
run
regedit
go into the registry and remove anything you don't recognize in the;
local machine
software
microsoft
windows
current version
all of the 'run' files

Reply: delete them through windows if you can, that way they go into the recycle
bin and can be retreived if necessary.
