Can't open Deleted Items folder

Lately I can't open the Deleted Items folder in my Outlook Express (Windows ME).
When I try to open the folfer I get the following message: "FOLDER NOT FOUND"
And sometimes I can't delete messages unless I reboot my computer.
Thank you guys for any information that can help me with this tough situation.
