made a boot disk from bootdisk.com, then copied the ifshlp.sys file from a windows
98 program onto a floppy, booted the computer in with out cd help, removed the bootdisk
at the A: prompt and replaced it with the floppy containing the file, copied the
file into my system, sorry i cant remember the exact commands i used to do this but
i am sure someone posted them here on this website about three years ago, and the
computer started first go no probs.
Took me about seven minutes in total to do something that a computer technician said
couldnt be done.
