That Windows IDE Hard Drive Cache Package is a bad thing to install! The microsoft
site recommends installing this to prevent a problem that doesn't actually exist
UNTIL that is installed. I wish I hadn't done it now. It has caused scandisk to auto-start
at boot, and saying that there might be "bad sectors" on the disk. This wasn't happening
before that package was installed. Does anyone know how to prevent Scandisk from
doing that please? I have Windows 98 Second Edition. PLEASE HELP!
