Rose, my guess is that those "2 teeth things stood up" are the memory sockets. However,
you can easily destroy your computer if you don't know what you're doing. You can
break the memory boards or motherboard by using too much force, or you can do some
hidden damage with static electricity. (Very common.)
I recommend that you get help from an experienced computer technician. Call a few
local small computer shops, and ask them what they will charge you to install your
RAM. It shouldn't be more than a half hour labor charge (maybe $30 to $45 total),
and you might even find one that will take pity on you and do it for free.
Don't be surprised if they tell you the thing is not really worth upgrading. That's
a pretty old computer, and wasn't a very good one to start with.
