Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 1:28 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by brian (497 messages posted) what do you mean that did nothing? when i used a bios password on my dell a dos like screen comes up asking for the password, you have three chances to enter the correct password , if not the computer shuts down. unless you mean your roomate got into the computer anyway? if you do have a bios pass word entered the next thing to do is to disable windows from booting to safe mode or dos. so which is it? there are ways to reset the bios passwords.
