Desktop problems

Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum

I have a Windows Me system & lately when I boot up all I get showing is my wallpaper
& an hour glass. I then have to manual shut down (after about 10 min.) & then scan
disk comes on & takes about 15 minutes to get everything up & running. Need all
the help I can get on this one!
