You must have your own license to use Windows.

1. Buy a copy of an operating system you want (check the system requirements if looking at Win2000/ WinXP).
2. Wipe out the old partitions and start fresh. No worries about passwords.
3. The Windows CD's for Full Versions have had bootable CD's since Win ME, so the CD can handle partitioning, formatting, and installing.
