Question about 'Customize Context Menus'

I have a question about Customize
Context Menus:I can not get anything to show up in the New context menu except
Folder and Shortcut. How do I make the other files show up there. They are listed
in the registry. ie.. TXT, DOC, PDF etc.. This has me stumped. They were there
but just vanished one day and will not return.
